The Dasharo Team expertly rebase the existing coreboot source code of the Client to the latest or a specific version of the official coreboot tree while preserving their custom features and ensuring that they function identically from a firmware and hardware perspective.
This solution is designed to update and optimize the firmware infrastructure of the Client. The goal is to enhance the firmware’s compliance with the latest specifications and community standards, resulting in a firmware version that ensures seamless integration with Dasharo products.
The team builds the rebased firmware with the latest coreboot SDK compatible with the targeted coreboot branch. They also confirm feature parity with the reference firmware by passing all relevant validation tests and ensuring the new source code does not introduce any regressions in hardware or firmware features support.
Deliverables
- The complete source code of the rebased coreboot in the form of a Git repository.
- Test results, logs, and design documents (if required) confirming feature parity between rebased and original code.
